Oh, I just saw your post in Blogger. That's weird that it's not showing up on the site. Anyway, I just got home from the regional music listening contest. I'll be able to play RoN today. I get home from school at 3 then I'll install AIM and then I'll log on between 3:30 and 4:00. I'll wait for you to come on then and then we can set up the game.

My health teacher is making me stay after class for an hour to watch some video, that sucks. But at least she's not keeping me Friday. I'll get AIM installed after that tomorrow.


I'll have to read up on that strategy later. Right now I gotta get ready for school.

I don't remember my Gamespy sn. I haven't used it in forever. I used the Gamespy server list in MOHAA, but that didn't require an actual Gamespy account. I think I might've been lotus49, but I'll just get a new one. Btw, here's some links to some RoN strategy that I've been reading up on. It's pretty amazing reading, the game is just so deep.

I think Dan was thinking about buying RoN so if your friend and Dan get it we could get a pretty cool game going on. That would be sweet with custom diplomacy too so that we could make alliances with each other.

Hmm, I don't have an RoN sn yet - do you mean the sn in Gamespy? Or just the name of the profile I use in the game? Anyway, I think if we try to play against other people we'll get absolutely crushed. I really suck. People are really good at this game. I think if we just play against each other, and learn from each other, then that would be fun. But if you want to try playing against other people, that's fine too. I have a friend who is I think about the same skill level as me - I just got him into RoN after I tried the demo a few months ago. Hopefully, he's gonna buy the retail version soon, and then we could all play. Dan, are you interested in RTS games?

Well, anyway, direct connect would probably be easier on our systems, at least for me. I'm not sure what my ip is, my ISP changes it a lot, so I'll just give it to you when we start chatting. Smaller maps are cool - if we do one on one, we'd be using a small map anyway. Tell me when you get AIM installed, and then we can play. I'll probably be busy on Wednesday, but I think I'll be free from Thursday night on.

Do you wanna play you vs. me or should we play with other people. I think both would be fun. The thing is alot of times people drop out of online and just us two would keep the lag down. Then I wonder if we should use Gamespy or just direct connection.

I'm not sure if connecting through gamespy adds some lag or not but either way its fine. I think gamespy would be easier to find each other on though.

Since my computer lags some is it ok if we do a smaller map with the population at around 100? I normally play with a 75 pop limit, but thats no fun 100 or 125 is better.

My parents said my sister doesn't have a swim meet so I don't have anything. I just gotta get AIM installed, I'll probably do that Wednesday or Thursday.

What's your RoN screename? I'm just Fork122. I think there is a friends list in RoN so I'll add you to it to make things easier.

I got to get AIM on this computer first and I doubt I'll have time to play RoN tonight. But maybe I can next weekend. I think Eau Claire schools have the end of the quarter on the 23rd so I wouldn't have much homework that weekend. I'm not sure if my sister has a swim meet though. Are you doing anything next weekend?
