Hey, I fixed the counter code. So now our counter is working again. Our stats host changed their free service so now that's the only kind of counter style we can have. Anyway, it's there now.

Hey, if you signed into Blogger in the last couple of days, did you get a notice right above the box listing your blogs asking if you wanted to be a beta tester for Gmail, Google's new email service? I did, and Gmail's awesome.

Yeah, the ChampCar races are all at 3 pm on Sundays on Spike. I'm sure Race Director has a few seconds of lag over the TV broadcast, but just being able to watch them is a godsend for me. I'm definitely going to buy the season. For a while towards the middle of the race I did have some buffering problems, but it wasn't too bad and I think they'll get it sorted out eventually.

Yeah I'm using .oggs for OFP. But I don't need alot of good quality stuff. So I'm just ripping them to MP3s in Itunes and using the dbpoweramp converter to convert them to .oggs. I think it works better to convert them because somethings lit bit rate have to be different for them to work in OFP. I haven't tried any yet though. But hopefully I'll be able to get some music ingame. I found where Itunes saves the MP3s so I'm okay.

About ChampCar I didn't know it was starting. But from now on I'll try to watch the races. Are they all on sundays?

So is there barely any lag on race director? They must have a really nice server if they get video feed to alot of people all in real time.

I'm watching the race on Race Director, the streaming media and data from champcar's website. It's free the first two races, and $20 for the season after that. It's unbelievable. It's ridiculous it's so cool. You can get the actual TV video and audio feed, without commercials - you still get video from the video feed while the commentators are off the air. It's awesome. Plus five other camera views available, and live timing and text commentary... It's very cool. For the first time ever in my life I'll be able to like watch all the races this year. Well, not at Plum Lake. But otherwise. As long as I have broadband access, I can watch it. Sweet.
