Hey, are you going to watch the champcar race tomorrow on Spike? I'm excited for the season to start, but I won't be able to see any races this year since they're all on Spike and I don't have cable....

Oh about the songs. Just wondering, why do you want .ogg files and how are you getting them? Do you want them for OFP? Cause I would think it'd just be easier to rip them directly to ogg files. Are you ripping them to MP3 or ACC with iTunes? Running anything through two codecs is always a bad thing since you lose quality every time you do it. Are you after the best sound quality possible? Because ACC is a good format for low bitrate files, like 64-96 kbps, so they're useful for transfering over the internet. But if you start looking for better quality and start to increase the bitrate, like to 160 or above, then MP3 becomes a better sounding format than ACC. If you want the best sounding files, mp3 at high bitrates is still better than any of the new mp3pro and mp4 and acc formats. I'd recommend using Exact Audio Copy to rip the songs from cd, and then use LAME version 3.90.3 (I think that's the right number) with the -alt preset standard option to ecode it to mp3. And if you want ogg files, its best to just encode them directly from the cd. If you want me to walk you through any of this stuff, let me know. I mean, it's possible you you might not even be able to tell any difference, it all depends on personal preference...

Oh hey Eric, I just got home like 10 mins ago. Too bad I missed you. Oh well.

Nevermind, I think I'm gonna go watch Saturday Night Live now. Cause my parents don't want me to stay up again.

Ok, I'm on AIM, now. Ripping my CDs into Itunes. Do you know where Itunes stores the songs on the hard drive? because I wanna convert them all to .ogg files.

I can't play tonight until 10.15 or 10.30 - we're going to the symphony and to dinner and I totally forgot about that. I'll be home then, and I can play then.

Ok, I'm gonna be off AIM for a while now. I'll be back on sometime later.

Well I'll be on AIM for pretty much the rest of the day now. Just pretty much playing around with the mission editor in OFP or listening to music.

Nice, check out this : http://gear.ign.com/articles/506/506325p1.html

It's the IGN test results for Nvidia's newest videocard. It looks awesome and when I think I need a new video card I'm gonna get one of those. 500 bucks is pretty steep, but by the time I need a new video card I'll probably have enough cash, or maybe my parents can help out with half. Dan told me it comes out in May, can't wait to see how it goes.

Dan is getting a new Dell now too. Except his is better than ours 8) hes got the 8300 at 3.2ghz and a 256MB Ati Radeon 9800 XT (I think). Other than that I think the same as both yours and my dell. I gotta see if he's around memorial day weekend because with 2 nice dells, 3 laptops, and 2 kinda sucky gateways we could have a real nice LAN party :D And dan's brother has 3 servers I think, something like that. I think he's going to his cabin though. Oh well we can do ok with 1 dell, 1 sucky gateway, one sucky dell, and 3 laptops.

Ah yes, I was gonna change my screename for AIM back to just Fork122, but I don't remember that password. So I changed it to Hutchy122. Got that name from my gym teacher, lol. and in the phillipines my grandpa got called that because Hutchy and Hatchi (or whatever 9 is in japanese sound alot alike).
