Ahh...I love spring break. I borrowed Medal of Honor Allied Assault Spearhead from a friend - it's awesome. It basically follows the same storyline as in Band of Brothers (which I just really started reading a couple days ago). You're a 101st Airborne paratrooper that makes the drop on D-Day - the opening mission where you jump from a C-47 is basically exactly like the fourth chapter of Band of Brothers. The jumpmaster shouts "Stand up - Hook up! Stand by for equipment check!" And all the paratroopers go "Twelve OK!" "Eleven OK!" just like in the book. It's really cool.
Anyway, I saw this on IGN:
Basically, it says Codemasters is working on an OpFlash2 - sweet!
In Operation Flahpoint I got captured by resistance troops while our squad was evacuating Everon. Well the resistance wants you to get back and tell the commanders that the russians are killing civilians. Anyways at a car checkpoint you give the troops vodka to get through, lol, whatever works I guess. At the next checkpoint was two officers who actually were paying attention, I tried being nice and stopping once but I got shot so the next try I just ran them over. That must hurt to get run over by a truck. The storyline is really good in Operation Flashpoint. You can understand most of it but the game doesn't tell you everything that is going on, leaves some things out so you have stuff to think about.
